beautiful shot. looks so serene. and the colour is just gorgeous. but i just had a question, why wouldn't you buy a Nikon first? if you plan on getting one later anyways? I hear their lenses are better. now I'm a canon guy myself, but i am feeling a lot of sway towards nikon, I mean my eyeglasses are nikon lenses! lol. I just think I'd rather get a Canon 5D eventually, with no lens multiplier, that's my main reason for staying with canon.
